The jacketed sleeved plug valve combines the features of a sleeved plug valve with a jacketed design, providing enhanced performance in specific conditions. The central component that rotates within the valve body to open or close the flow path. It is typically cylindrical or conical and is coated with a sleeve material to reduce friction and wear. A non-metallic, low-friction material (often PTFE or other polymers) that lines the internal surface of the valve body and the plug. The sleeve provides a tight seal and reduces the torque required to operate the valve. An external casing that surrounds the valve body. The jacket allows for the circulation of heating or cooling fluids (such as steam, hot oil, or cooling water) to maintain the process fluid at a desired temperature.
The Jacketed Sleeved Plug Valves are designed to control special chemical service where media has to be required within a specified temperature range. The steam jacketed design prevents the media in the body from cooling down. If cool media become solid, the trim parts, plug and stem will be very hard to operate. The steam jacket keeps maintaining required temperature of the valve. The Jacketed Sleeved Plug Valve has simple structure, rapid opening and closing, small flow resistance, convenient maintenance, good sealed performance. Widely used in chemical, petroleum and other industrial piping system control. Nominal pressure class PN 1.6-16.0, Working temperature -29°C +150°C.The product has the advantage of keeping warm and cold. It can reduce the heat loss of medium in the pipe, and transfer the high viscosity medium which will solidify in room temperature. Size range from DN15 to DN 600. Jacket plug valve can be made in 1.4308 - 1.4306 - 1.7363 - 1.4301 or GS-C25The materials of the parts and sizes of flanges can be reasonably configured according the actual operation condition of the requirements of the customers, so as to meet the various needs of engineering.
